8.  How are the skins applied to the phone, tablet and laptop?

The skins bond directly to the device.  A detailed step-by-step card with instructions will be included with your skin when you receive the product.   It will include the following information:

Please read all of the instructions completely before applying to your device.  The process is fairly easy, but should be done carefully.  For ease of installation, you may prefer to have another person help apply the skin to your device.

1.  In order for your skin to adhere properly, remove and wash all dirt and grease from your hands and device.  Clean your device thoroughly with a soft, dry cloth.  Avoid using soap and water, solvents, or cleaners on the device.  Work in a well-lit, clean area with a flat surface.

2.  Familiarize yourself with where and which way you would like the skin to go on your device.  It may be helpful to hold the skin over-top of the device, lightly touching the four corners.  Keep in mind any cut-outs for a camera, volume controls or the Apple logo.  Carefully and slowly peel from the backing.  Avoid stretching the skin or letting the back of the skin touch other surfaces or itself.

3.  When applying, start with an edge and guide the skin along the device, smoothing it with your hand as you go.  If a crease or small bubbles form, to avoid stretching, lift the skin slowly and carefully in that area and reapply.  For stubborn edges, run your finger along the side to even it out.

9.  How are the skins removed?

The skins should peel off easily by pulling on them gently and slowly.  They should not leave any residue behind.  Applying heat from a blow dryer, the sun or a lamp may make the removal easier and should be done if the skin is applied to a chrome-type finish.  Laptop skins are most easily removed when the lid is closed.

10.  Are the skins reusable?

The skins are not reusable, but if you carefully remove the skin and it remains in good condition, there may be a possibility you can reapply it to your device. The skins can be easily removed when you would like to change the design and will not leave any sticky residue on your device.  The skins are adjustable during the application process, but once the skin has bonded to the device, it may stretch when you remove it.

11.  Do the skins protect the phone, tablet or laptop?

The skins themselves protect the back of the phone/tablet and the lid of the laptop from scratches.  They do not protect the screen.  The tablet skins are compatible with a case for the tablet, which we recommend for additional protection when traveling or on-the-go use of the device.

12.  When will I receive my order?

You will receive your order within 1 – 2 weeks.
